Prairie Paisley Quilt

I just finished quilting this fun Americana quilt that used a lot of Moda's Prairie Paisley line. It was pieced by one of my all-time favorite customers, Debbie L. She has sent me quilts for every season and holiday, and EVERY one of them is this wonderful. I just wish I had taken pictures of all the others! Her love of folk art is reflected in each quilt that she makes.

Doesn't it make you want to pull out all your red, white, and blue decor?

Is this where I leave my comment for the giveaway? My favorite quilting memory is when your hair got caught in the thimble and wound it tightly to your head! Funny stuff...it's always funny when it happens to someone else, right?

The memory that makes me laugh but scares me at the same time is the hair winding up in the bobbin. I have short hair so this wouldn't be a problem for me, but it must have been a moment of panic for you!

Linda, you'll need to comment at Little Birdie Secrets to be entered in their giveaway.

Good luck!

This is my first visit to your site. I'm not a quilter, but your work makes me want to start! I love the detail of the cherries in the Chocolate Covered Cherries quilt! I would love a tutorial for the bags as well as the hemming and patching (does that ever stop when you have kids?). Anyway, I love your work, it is beautiful!

Felicia,

I just left our comment over at Little Birdie Secrets. But I also wanted to stop by here and thank you for such a generous and beautiful giveaway opportunity.

And the next time you head up to Salt Lake you are welcome to stop by our house for a pit stop. We are right on your way, and smack dab in the middle of you and SLC. :D

I just have to tell you that your work is amazing. I went on to Little Birdie Secrets and found your blog. I just love, love, love your quilts. They are absolutley gorgeous.
Random, but I have been to Loa. I live in AZ but my husband's family reunions the past couple of years have been in Fremont and we would stay in Loa. It is absolutely beautiful there. I wish I could live in the country. Enjoy it!
